Better Be Home Soon.

Despite much resentment for getting out of bed this morning, my lazy ways were ended with a text from my darling neighbour, Emma. Emma had stayed at her sisters house lastnight and was an hour away from home. Apparently Ben (Emma's darling husband) believed he may have left the kitchen stove on before he left for work. So, out of bed I hopped.. Grabbed the spare key and ran (in my skanky singlet and trackies) across the mulchy gorge and to the front door. Might I add, it is FREEZING this morning. HELLO WORKMAN ACROSS THE ROAD! Haha. After freaking out on the phone to Emma, the problem was resolved. No stove was alight and the house was in tact :) success!

My sleep in however, not so much of a success. Haha. Never mind, I am awake now and am quite cosy sitting having my morning coffee before little miss gets up for the day. Today is going to be a great day!

Today is the third birthday of my gorgeous little god son, Lyncon. I remember this day 3 years ago ever so clearly. It was a Tuesday - payroll day. I had to go to work early (about 6am) to process the daily payroll and then flee down to Rockingham Hospital (from Canning Vale) to help Kelly in labour, and to then see this tiny little man enter the world :) what a wreck I was! I was so drained, and I didn't even do anything! I got a huuuuge cuddle when he was about 5-10 minutes old. Kelly went to have a shower, so he was all mine! Mwahahaha. Lyncon Christopher - Happy 3rd Birthday little man! To celebrate, Lyncon is having a dinosaur themed birthday party today. Mia and I will be attending, and we WILL be eating copious amounts of junk food - tis going to be a gooooood day :)

Then, this evening, I am working. In Scarborough. Quite a trek from Baldivis, but it is going to be a great party tonight! It means I wont be home till 11pm or later, but - a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!

Ahhh. Now, stop destracting me so I can drink my coffee :)
