Today was nice :) this morning Mia and I had visits from Kate and baby Austin.. Austin tried his luck in Mia's jolly jumper and boy did he like it! Bless him. Much to my surprise, when they arrived, Kate passed me a massive box of goodies :) a beautiful card, chocolates, coffee, smelly stick things, face masks, stationery.. And a book for Mia! It was a thank you for me being her parenting 'go-to girl' .. It's so nice to have a thank you like that - especially when you aren't expecting anything! It made my day.. Maybe even my month :) lots of love to Kate & baby Austin!
This afternoon Mia and I went to Spotlight, and to Bunnings. Mia has recently decided that she likes being upside down. She folds herself backwards whilst in the trolley - it makes shopping rather humorous! So, if you're holding her - beware! She arches her back in half and tries to get upside down.. Haha! Lastnight was a lesson learned for Michael when he was playing with Mia (sitting opposite her on the rug singing 'Round and round the garden..') when she decided to attempt going upside down.. From a sitting position.. & smacked her head full pelt into the floor.. Ouchies! Fun in a trolley - not so fun when you head plant the floor!
Lastnight was our LLL Unit Meeting.. What a lovely bunch of ladies I am blessed to work with :) most of the girls are 110% supportive of one another & it is an amazing feat for a company so large! Normally businesses and managers are down right rude & bitchy! Not with Lorraine Lea :) I can't wait to become part of the WA management team! Lastnight I also got my 4th recruit :) which means I only need one more before I am ready for my role as Trainee Manager! Weehoo! Come onnnnn team 'Sheet Dreams'!! I would also like to add that I am aware I am only 24 years old - but I am more than capable of running my own successful party plan business & my own team of girls too for that matter! So please, do not underestimate the things that I can do. Bitch all you want, snide remarks, whatever you wish to do - you're only making yourself look petty & naive. I DO take things personally and seriously, so please take that into consideration before you blow your mouth off. This is where manners kick in - if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. I won't back down.
